The Art of Dr. Charles Smith, Inc. was incorporated in 2021 to support Dr. Charles Smith and his legacy of artmaking, teaching, and inspiring creativity, to promote the art of Dr. Charles Smith in concert with established cultural partners, and to develop cultural alliances, all for the public good.
The Art of Dr. Charles Smith, Inc. recognizes that Dr. Smith’s immense oeuvre––his artworks, environments, archives, and his voice––are expressions of his profound commitment to righting history, teaching social justice and preaching anti-racism.
